Last Blog: What's Next?

            It is so sad to say that four months have already gone, and my staying time in California is also up, too. Studying in ALP with many friendly guys and all dedicated professors of advanced class is very wonderful; for me, everything looks like a dream that I used to think before coming to America. I hope that I can continue learning English in this university, but I still have to do something as my mission. Next term, I will move to Dallas where the weather is bad; I heard that from somebody. I also think so much about my future plans. With me, it is hard to say about the future because everything will be able to change in some ways. However, I would like to become a pharmacist in America, and come back to work and live the rest of my life in California. I do not want to permanently say goodbye anyone because we all keep in touch to each other anytime by email.

Topic #7: Happiness

    To me, my family makes me happy. Before coming to America, I recognized that my family was the most important thing to me. Also, it is strongly confirmed when I have studied in the United States. Whoever goes far away from home also misses their family so much. Me too. Whoever not only feels comfortable when they are in their house, and but also get safe when they live with their relatives. Only our relatives are willing to take care of us and protect us when we are getting trouble, dangerous or make a mistake. My family has been the source of strength so that I can overcome many difficulties of the rough road in the future.

Topic #6: Pet Peeves

        When I came to America, one of the most essential things is a cellphone number. Therefore, my uncle helped me add one more line phone into his family's contract. As all you know, I was surprised that there were many benefits with T- mobile service. For example, we can call those who are possessing the same T- mobile service anytime with no charge. It is free. Moreover, at weekend, we can call any cell phone number in America such as AT & T, Verizon.... It is free too. And that is the original of my pet peeve. I always get annoyed when someone in my family call me for a long loooooong time of phone call. An example of that is my aunt called and asked me, " why did not you prepare lunch for your grandfather yet?". pla pla pla..... I could not do anything following her suggestions, whereas she continued her timeless speech. That annoys me every weekend.

Topic #5: Why Does This Exist?

            As you all know, there are many things that we cannot explain on the world. For instance, mosquitoes. I also used to wonder why mosquitoes exist on Earth when I was a child. To me, they are really useless animals because they know only suck blood of humans and another ones.
           I used to look for more information about this animal. Then, I was surprised, for they have existed on our planet around 170 million years. They appear in tropical countries, including Vietnam, and they are particularly sensitive to people who have blood group O like me. That why I am often bitten, and I feel itchy, uncomfortable and frustrating. In addition, being bitten by mosquitoes can cause high mortality, including dengue fever, etc.
           People often use lizards, fish and bats to kill mosquitoes. In other words, they exist to be food of lizards, fish and bats. As professor May, I continued to ponder on this animal' s existence a little more. Do they exist to help the increase in sale of anti-mosquito products worldwide? And I have not had the answer yet.
           
            

Topic #4: Senses

         I have never imagined what life would be like if I had to lose one of my five senses. As we all know, each sense has a certain influence on our body, and none is important than any one because they are in a uniform. Therefore, I spent a lot of time thinking about this week's question. I remembered that the touch and the hearing of a blind will be developed stronger to compensate what the sight lost. However, I do not want to be a blind, for I could get too much troubles in my life. Then, I remembered in some of china films, the cook often get stuck in losing their taste. They will be fine at the end of the film. In fact that I am not a cook, so this problem could not affect me too much. I will choose to lose my taste because of these reasons above. Moreover, when I am sick, I often do not feel the taste of the food that is delicious or not.

Topic #3: Popularity, Accomplishment, or Organization?

       There are many important things in my life. Three of them are popularity, accomplishment and organization. This week's title really posed another difficult choice to determine which one is the most important for me because everyone also would like to achieve these three factors, particularly modern city dwellers the same as us. All of them have their own important points.
        Being popular and having a lot of friends is important in our life. We cannot live without our friends and families. We can overcome challenges in our life and share the bored, disappointed and happy feelings with them. They can give us useful recommendations and help our life better.
        Accomplishment is also a purpose that we set out to achieve. It helps us do our missions with the best efforts and improve our ability. For example, I set up a target A in the final exam, so I have been studying so hard everyday.
        In my opinion, in order to choose which one is the most important I will choose organization with two reasons. First of all, if I organized well in all that I wanted to do, I would do them easily and properly. This means I could accomplish my missions. For instance, I organize my room clearly, so I do not waste time putting on my clothes and grabbing my backpack every morning. Therefore, I often go to school on time and this is one of necessary steps to reach my target A in the final exam. Do you think you will be able to get a good mark in the exam if you are late? Secondly, if I reached my target, got a high score, I would be popular and make friends easily in the university. I hoped that I organized my essay well.
       

Topic #2: Time Travel

If I could go back in time as myself, what would I want to witness? This question is very difficult for me to response. I really want to go back at any time before my mistakes occur, even small mistakes so as to fix or make everything more perfectly. However, if there is true, there must be false. It is the life.

In addition, I also used to think about going back to the past to have more time to live with my grandmother who died in March 2013. Eventually, I did not do this because I did not want to witness my grandmother pass away again. Also, if there is happy, there must be sad. It is the life.

So I decided to do something more meaningful. I would like to go back before the first iPhone generation (iPhone 2G) released on 29th June, 2007. It is the significant turning point making people change the way to look at smart phone. Anyone who love the iPhone will also want to be the first one to witness the birth of it. Me too. Maybe I might carry belong an iPhone 5, 5S or any modern recent devices and give it to Steve Jobs and his collaborators. We will not waste a lot of time waiting for the iPhone generations. Consequently, Steve Jobs or another scientists could invent many modern devices such as iPhone 10, devices which save my grandmother alive or fix my mistakes made in the past.
